Here on and around SXM there is a plethora of trophy fish and fishing styles to choose from. Inshore fishing is available for year round residents. Tarpon in the Salt Ponds, Bone fish in the lagoons to Snook and Rainbow runners (Cobia) on a fly or Barracuda and snappers on baits are just a few of the lesser known thrills this tiny 2 island nation has to offer. The offshore (Pelagic) Big game migratory fishery is also available here. I have found this fishery over the years to be very seasonal with most of my bigger catches being brought in during the fall (Hurricane season).

I now also have to offer self guided fishing trip rentals for you here on SXM. Everything an experienced fisherperson needs to challenge their fishing skills in our Caribbean waters. All the while enjoying fishing and saving big by self guiding! My local knowledge briefing and emergency contact number is included with all boat and gear rentals. Also included in the rental is 2 quality rods and reels, 2 proven new lures and all fishing gear normally required. Not included in rental price is Fuel, Drinks, Snacks, Ice, Extra lures and bait. There is also an additional charge for broken, damaged or lost equipment.
For the best chance of hooking into your personal best as we fishers know fishing around Sunset and Sunrise is usually your best chances. For this reason the charter hours are. Morning trips starts 30 minutes before official Sunrise and last for 5 hours. Evening trips Ends 30 minutes after official Sunset and start 5 hours before.
